Magnolia Tilda w/ Watering Can and Vintage Orangerie

Hello Dearest Readers,

Happy Tuesday to each of you! I hope your day is filled with sunshine!

Today begins a new challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. Our theme is

Flowers or Photo Inspiration

I chose to go with flowers. I just love the Vintage Orangerie from the Spring Fever Collection. I also used Watering Can Tilda from the 2011 Sweet Rainbow Collection.

I've always had a love for greenhouse designs. Have you ever Googled Orangeries? Oh, there are some absolutely GORGEOUS architectural designs. I chose to color my upper section in green to resemble verdigris - which is a bluish green to green color due to the oxidation of the copper elements. If you ever want to see some beauties, just Google "historical orangeries" or even "American historical orangeries." There are some gorgeous images.

Back to my card. This beautiful card is for sale in my Etsy Shop, A Scrapper's Boutique. Here it is:

I used lots of layering on the card both on the interior and exterior. Lots of pretty die cuts, machine stitching, distressing, bow lace, pearl accents, and those little foam spheres that fall off the flower sprays, LOL. I love those things! On the inside, I have a decorative pocket holding a pretty tag as well as a panel for a special message. There is also distressing and machine stitching on both interior sides. It's just so lovely!

Diana also has the We Made It Collection listed here. There are really cute images in this collection, too! Check them out before they are gone.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget and check out the gorgeous designs my teamies have created!

I hope you will return again very soon!

XO,

Chris

Magnolia "Souper" Tilda Note Card

Hello Dearest Readers,

Well, it's Saturday! Are you having a good weekend? I know yours is better than mine! I need to find a cave to live in.

I have a little note card to share with you today and it's listed in my ETSY Shop. It features "Souper" Tilda from the We Made It Collection. Diana has these newbies listed in the Magnolia-licious Store and she's ready to get you set up with these cuties. You can find the entire collection HERE.

Souper Tilda just made me smile. I guess it is the cook in me that identified with her. Here she is:
